Description
One of the first sounds of Spring activity out here on the West Coast of Canada is the roar of power saws. It seems that everything just grows and grows and without some cutting back, the Forest would overtake us. When I walked out onto the deck one morning, this is what I saw going on in my neighbor's yard. The strength and agility of the men who do this work is beyond my imagination. It was exciting to see!

Nicely captured Heather! This is a common sight here in the spring, as well. We frequently see the hydro company out clearing the growth away from power lines on the residential streets and redirecting or holding up traffic. But I am thankful they trim them opposed to cutting them down. LF
Heather McFarlane-Watson replied:
Thank you for your wonderful comment, Malanda. Yes, it is amazing how much forest there really is in the Province of British Columbia - and all the wildlife to go with it.
